The issue is back on the agenda for next week's EU session (March 9-12). While governments build "Ministries of Security," they are quietly erecting a digital surveillance grid.

What was the STASI?
It was total surveillance. They bugged phones and hid microphones in homes. Anyone could be targeted. Neighbors spied on neighbors to crush dissent and control minds.
