As you may know, Twitter has implemented restrictions on daily post reading, aiming to bring about a more controlled online environment. While this may seem like an inconvenience to some, we at the FBI see a potential positive impact on our operations. 🙌
One of the significant benefits of these rate limits is the potential decrease in the number of death threats and bomb threats flooding our inbox. Let's face it, investigating these threats is no walk in the park. It requires a significant allocation of resources and manpower, taking our dedicated agents away from other critical tasks.
By limiting the number of posts users can read per day, Twitter inadvertently puts a damper on the enthusiasm of individuals who would otherwise engage in such threatening behavior. It's like adding a roadblock to the path of those who seek to spread fear and terror. 💥🚫
While we acknowledge that there are other avenues for such threats to manifest, Twitter has been a breeding ground for these sinister activities. We are hopeful that these rate limits will discourage individuals from resorting to such harmful actions and spare us the need to investigate countless cases of digital malice.
Of course, we remain vigilant in our duty to protect the public and maintain national security. We will continue to monitor and respond swiftly to any threats that do emerge, regardless of the platform. Our commitment to ensuring safety and upholding the law remains unwavering.
