I just finished binging the latest 3 episodes of #TheMandolorian*, and they went from bad, to worse, to insulting, in each episode.
Too complicated a story for the time they had and lazy writing combined to destroy the second best #StarWar #series.
Thankfully, I've also been rewatching the best-ever #StarWars story, #Andor.
*I hate #JackBlack like I hate #JackLemmon: With absolutely no real reason but "vibes", basically 🤷🏿♂️

Watching the Light and Magic documentary about ILM and #StarWar. It's really cool to see how they figured out some of these special effects.
Also, don't forget the escape pod scene was a falling KFC bucket.

@uliwitness just to put all my recent #StarWar editorializing in context, I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy. I was just old enough to see #ROTJ on the big screen on its original release, and it blew my little mind. I saw Eps 4 and 5 later on TV later, and loved them too. Like probably every little boy with access to a movie theatre or a TV in the 1980s, I saw myself as #LukeSkywalker battling the #DarkSide, in the Sith, and in myself.
