I've been following Joi Scientific for years, including their crash & burn, and now their current attempted resurrection.Here is an old post describing 4 hydrogen startups in the same building as Joi: the NASA Space Life Lab.
IMO Joi was trying to get as physically close as they could to NASA, to try to generate some legitimacy by association. Not sure about all the others...
