CW: Catching up on the new Star Treks
Spent my long weekend binge watching Discovery.
Love the context and expansion of the OG Star Trek universe. It has moments of breathtaking beauty from a filmmaking perspective. Sonequa Martin-Green as Burnham largely sells it. I love how it weaves strong messages into its storytelling about the power of possibility, self love, and caring for others including those who differ from us.

I know, I'm late to the show, but yesterday evening I finally managed to watch forth season's final episodes of #StarTrekDisocovery ... and I am still blown away how a #Scifi show can be so full of hope and inclusiveness plus extremely entertaining!

I just learned that the actor who plays Saru on star trek discovery is also a contortionist and played the creature from Pans Labyrinth as well. 😍
