Since when does StartPage get worse result than Google? StartPage was supposed to anonymize the search and forward it to Google.
Searching for yamaha musiccast controller site:uptodown.com gives me an app to listen to the sound of motorcycles. Pretty sure there are no motorcycles with built in musiccast. For one, that would require some pretty large speakers.
Google gives me better results even without quotes than startpage gives with quotes.
StartPage is starting to feel like Bing (pronounced "garbage").

@StartpageSearch Is literally just a meme account, they not even announced that the got now a .onion domain which many users requested ;-; (They only made a repost of somebody else one) Also, for some reason the domains aren't verified, even if this account is linked on their official page website .-.

I think its time to fully switch over to the LibreWolf web browser (in lieu of vanilla FireFox) with Startpage set as the default search engine of course. So #startpagesearch seems to finally start answering our questions. The most interest ing answer to me is the fact that System1 does indeed have the major stakehold.
We are currently discussing how we will proceed.
