Nine languages ship alongside English and not one has been read by a speaker. AI against dictionaries — which is where a bad translation does harm rather than just look untidy.

They ship marked Beta, and lose the mark when a speaker reads one and says so.

Aujourd'hui c'est atelier JMAP.

Le protocole qui vise à remplacer IMAP : du JSON sur HTTP, un point d'entrée unique, des requêtes groupées.

Rien à installer sur Stalwart, c'est actif dès qu'un listener HTTP existe. Il a suffi d'autoriser les requêtes du navigateur. L'API n'est pas exposée sur internet, j'y accède par un tunnel SSH.

Pour tester, Claude Code m'a généré deux pages HTML en moins d'une minute, sans framework, ouvertes en local : une qui affiche le dernier mail reçu, une qui répond à son expéditeur.

Ça marche, le mail est parti.

Consulter et envoyer ses mails sans client classique, sans rien ajouter au serveur. Stalwart est très complet.

Sterna Mail just landed on F-Droid 🐦

A private, native Android email client for JMAP (and classic IMAP/SMTP). No ads, no tracking, no Google services.

Reproducible builds too, verified by F-Droid. It only took me three attempts to make two computers produce the exact same bytes, which I'm told is called "determinism".

@meissa die Lösung dieser Frage ist recht einfach: #Stalwart "spricht" ja nicht nur #JMAP, sondern auch Klassik in Form von IMAP, CalDAV, CardDAV. SMTP sowieso. Und damit sind alle "alten" (Web-)Clients kompatibel.
