When I interviewed #Splunk security SVP John Morgan today at #splunkconf26, I asked him a question that I've been asking a few people lately: "Is #agenticAI actually governable in the long term? Is it really controllable? Because we're hearing about agents defying the guardrails and instructions set for them, finding their way out of sandboxes and containment setups, and even recruiting other agents. Then, of course, vendors like Splunk are proposing tools to rein them in. But what's to say a Splunk Agentic SOC agent isn't vulnerable to recruitment by a malicious agent?" #AIgovernance #responsibleAI
His answer, and much more, in this just-published Q&A: https://www.techtarget.com/it-infrastructure/news/366650495/Splunk-security-exec-charts-course-for-responsible-AI
