With the new ferry, the operation on the #island side will shift from Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (#SPCT) back to Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda (#PRTU).
To celebrate the start of the operation of new ferry, #freeticket will be given to all Penang ferry users, Malaysians and non-Malaysians alike, for a month from 7 August to 6 September.

The Ministry of Transport (#MOT) intends to make the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (#SPCT) as the home port for the #cruise industry in an effort to bring more tourists to #Penang.
Under the MOT, the plan is to implement #Fly & Cruise in Penang where SPCT will be used as a #homeport while the Penang International #Airport (#PIA) will be upgraded to allow more tourists to visit the state.
