4/4 The second “big gun” at day two of #soulcrusher brought a message from the stars. The message is that #deathmetal can incorporate and build upon prog elements yet remains goosebumps inducing, bone crushing #deathmetal American heroes #bloodincantation had visited the Netherlands in part 1 of their #AbsoluteElsewhere tour earlier this year and they joined the festival for part 2. Powerful, uplifting, awe inspiring, brutal. Just a few adjectives that fit their live performance. Also, amazing stage visuals.

3/4 The first of the “big guns” at day two of #soulcrusher this year was #OranssiPazuzu We saw them earlier this year at Roadburn and seeing them again play a slightly different set was like a delicious #blackmetal cherry on the cake. They had the venue entranced.

2/4 To be honest, the deciding factor for us to get tickets for #soulcrusher this year was the addition of #sijjin We saw them in 2022, they killed it. If you aren’t familiar with them, just know the band originates from the demise of the mighty #NecrosChristos Same intensity, same technicality. It’s #deathmetal too but with a twist of Thrash. Their set was tight and so headbanging-ly enjoyable.

1/4 We attended day two of #soulcrusher in ancient #nijmegen The festival always delivers. Whatever you like in #extrememetal you will find music to your liking. This year’s edition was no exception. Amongst others, we really enjoyed #wyatte #oryx #predatoryvoid and #forn (great dual vocals)
