VISAS offers subsidized programs for #PeopleWithDisabilities & it's the only way I can afford to participate. I'm very grateful for their program 💗

This season, they're offering snowshoeing lessons for Nordic students interested. I'm planning to sign up for that in addition to doing more X-country in a #sitski training.
I am up at Mt. Washington January 5-8, 2026 for the annual Herb Bradley Festival. It's a week-long event to promote adaptive Snowsports, used to get people of all ages & abilities having fun on the snow. -

Awesome news 😀 I got early notice that my application for 2025 VISSA program was processed & I've been accepted to participate. I'm participating in annual Herb Bradley Snowsports Festival - with all gear & lessons covered for Nordic. I haven't tried their Nordic program yet & am stoked to learn! I booked a day for more sitski training too - it's only $10 for program participants.
Ojistoh, my Mohawk sister-friend, is going with me as my support friend & personal assistant.
I am SO EXCITED!

I loved riding it down from the Eagle lift summit a few times when I was accepted into program in 2020.
I love Winter & being up on the mountains in snow. I just don't have many opportunities to go up mountains in snowy Winter.
