Kas vainas būtu, ja apsnigušajā zonā gājēji jau skaitītos šķērsojuši brauktuvi vai drīkstētu gaidīt iespēju šķērsot?
Tāpat jau to dara, bet nedrīkst.

Turpat otra pāreja arī varētu būt ar šaurāku brauktuvi, ja auto pagrieziena manevru sāktu drusku vēlāk, neatstājot tik lielu to tukšo trijstūri.
Īsāks šķērsošanas laiks gājējiem un pilsētai būtu noderīgāks nekā tukšais asfalta lauks.

Pāreja ir, bet sniedziņš rāda, ka varētu būt cilvēcīgāka, kur cilvēkiem nav īsās sekundēs jājož pār maktenplatu brauktuvi, jo auto visu to platumu tāpat neizmanto.

Here's the same corner in January 2022. You can see the higher mounds of snow are a more effective defense against parking or turning cars, suggesting that planters may be preferable (in addition to curbs).
My neighborhood has relatively calm traffic and slow drivers, but every now and then I see a driver floor it around corners like this, and I worry about the children, pets, and wildlife.
