Kontinuierlich kletterte unsere Landeshauptstadt nach oben – jetzt ist sie die Nummer eins! Laut Smart City Index erreicht Stuttgart eine Punktzahl von 92,8 und überholt damit München. Auf Landesebene nimmt Baden-Württemberg insgesamt den zweiten Rang ein.
Für das Digitalranking der deutschen Großstädte erfasst der Branchenverband Bitkom 174 Parameter in 5 Themenbereichen pro Stadt. Die relevanten Parameter können dabei beispielsweise angebotene Online-Bürgerservices, intelligente Ampelanlagen oder das Ausmaß der Breitbandverfügbarkeit sein.
Das Ranking der 83 deutschen Großstädte mit den Ergebnissen in allen Teilbereichen ist unter www.smart-city-index.de verfügbar.

Darmstadt nennt sich Digitalstadt. Im Smart City Index 2026 des Bitkom reicht es nur für Rang 28 – elf Plätze abwärts: In der Verwaltung 34 Plätze nach unten auf Platz 73. Kategoriesieg bei Gesellschaft und Bildung (98,8 Punkte)? Ich sehe Lehrerinnen und Lehrer verwundert den Kopf schütteln. Die FAZ Rhein-Main berichtet.

Ich weiß nicht warum, aber der #überwachungskatalog im #Koalitionsvertrag lässt mich an die #Phantasien in der #smartcity - Charta 2017 denken.
Abgesehen vom Jubel über den Geldwert der Daten, steht da auch sowas:
"... Da wir genau wissen, was Leute tun und möchten, gibt es weniger Bedarf an Wahlen, Mehrheitsfindungen oder Abstimmungen. Verhaltensbezogene Daten können Demokratie als das gesellschaftliche Feedbacksystem ersetzen. .." (S.43)
