One more interface has been ported to PizzaTime website due to the limitations of the markdown used by Slack app pages.
However, going outside of Slack is not necessary. The base information is displayed inline, but for any additional filters, users should go to the web portal.

It seems that due to markdown limitations, the Slack integration will be delayed slightly.
I want to provide the same UX as with Microsoft Teams, so I’ll add an option to guide users to a web portal with all the features.
Still, Slack will display a basic version of each page!

Today I started the day in front of the canvas, instead of the text editor, as usual 🧑🎨
With the help of AI and my Affinity skills, I spent time preparing a teaser poster for my app's upcoming integration with Slack, which I'm actively working on.

One more notification type for the Slack app of pizza-time.app is good to go. As you send and receive more pizzas, you unlock different achievements to badge your profile and track your progress. This example has multiple stages - bronze, silver, and gold.
-
The development of the notifications for the Slack app is progressing smoothly. Here’s one you’ll receive once you level up and unlock a new pizza recipe.
Do you like peperroni pizza? 🍕

Notifications are the next big feature under development for the Slack app of PizzaTime.
Starting with the most simple ones first, but I’m quite pleased with the results so far.
PS: As with MicrosoftTeams, the app is not spamming you too often, I promise!

Turns out that Slack's Leaderboard page will be much more minimalistic compared to what we have in Microsoft Teams 🤷♂️
Since markdown tables are not supported, I’ll need to choose between two options:
1. A plain numbered lists
2. A code snippet with a monospaced font -
The Dashboard page for the Slack app is taking shape. Although it’s just a markdown, you can still access the most important information:
- your Daily Recipe and the number of pizzas remaining
- your base profile stats (level and score)
- and your most recent activity -
Since Endorsements for Slack are almost ready, now it's time for the Dashboard and Leaderboard pages.
I'm excited to explore Slack's Block Kit capabilities - while Markdown isn’t as robust as a React SPA, I’m aiming for a similar user experience! Wish me luck!
