@NorcalGma2 #Dogs have absolutely no understanding of #skunks & #porcupines, which is why they always get into trouble when confronting them. 🤷♂️
Getting #skunked is awful but it's not painful nor potentially fatal. A face (or muzzle, nose & mouth) full of porcupine quills is another matter.
Hope Summer enjoyed her bath(s). 😉

Made it almost 8 years living in the forest without my pup getting skunked. That streak ended last night.
Got her cleaned up and mostly deskunked, but that stuff has a bit of staying power.
All I keep thinking is: if it smells this bad to me, my poor pup is suffering so much worse than I am. Poor Pupper!
