Getting back into it. Last time I played Skyrim and the "mod Skyrim game" was before AE was released. Was the underlying engine tweaked for Skyrim Anniversary Edition or is it essentially #SkyrimSE with refreshed assets and a nice curation of community mods?
First impression of vanilla (plus #SKSE) is nice. More foliage, better water, DoF. Survival was one of my goto mods so I like that inclusion. With the crepuscular / god rays I think the engine was updated, too.
