Made some staging for my potting shed. All the wood came out of skips. The only cost was £3.29 for the screws. The red wood preservative I already had, probably used about 50 pence worth. Need to go on a sowing binge now and get it filled up. #allotment #greenhouses #SeedSowing #making #recycling #SkipDiving

I have a door!
At long last I've found a door in a skip that I can take to my allotment to complete the shed project.
I'm doubtful if it'll fit in the car, so it might become a stable door type door.
All I need now are the hinges. -
Just pulled this out of a skip round the corner from me. All this would have gone to landfill. What a waste. Already planning the greenhouse staging I will make with this. #allotment #SkipDiving #recycling #landfill

Made a pair of planters for the back yard. Planted with sweet peas, nasturtiums and pot marigolds. All the wood came out of skips, so the total cost was £24 - £9 for the screws, £11 for the compost and £4 for the gravel (which will hopefully deter cats from crapping in them).
