I got Three Hitachi Deskstar 2TB drives for $60 (USD) from a guy on FB marketplace--$30 each for two of them, and the third for free because he figured it was probably used. All were new old stock, still in factory packaging and sealed foil packs, etc. $10/TB isn't half bad.
He was selling stuff from a defunct business, little by little. He gave me some active cooled HDD enclosures (USB or SATA connection) for $10 each, a powered Rosewill 2-HDD enclosure with hardware RAID (I think? It can be set for JBOD or BIG configuration) for $25, which seems a decent price--also new in its box. And an ethernet switch for $10.
Now I need to learn how to use the storage array thingy and the ethernet switch. I think I can use both of them, once I figure them out. The RAID question will require more self-education, I think.

An example I made for my Halloween sale, wherein I depicted various meme animals in Halloween costumes or transformed into a creature, and would do so for your own pet. For this I enlisted a couple of friends to generate a few descriptive words to apply to the base memes. As you can see, Tsundere Shark has become a Cyborg.
