After #K9-Mail was also removed from F-Droid and replaced by #thunderbird, it was time for a change.
#SimpleMail is a slim alternative under #Android9, but it crashes under #Android12 and cannot be reactivated. The K-9 fork #mail from #monocles, which also offers other well-known apps, is a good replacement.

Nachdem #K9-Mail auch bei F-Droid entfernt und durch #thunderbird ersetzt wurde, war es Zeit für einen Wechsel.
Unter #Android9 ist #SimpleMail eine schlanke Alternative, die jedoch unter #Android12 abstürzt und sich nicht reaktivieren lässt. Hier taugt der K-9 Fork #mail von #monocles, der auch andere bekannte Apps anbietet, als Ersatz.
