Nos decidimos por utilizar el cliente de #monocles, que a mi parecer es el mejor, tiene mas opciones (este tiene stickers, e incluso podes subir los tuyos, pd: no se como se hace) a diferencia de otros.
Incluso tiene un apartado de seguridad que me hizo leer acerca de ello ya que no entendia na, por ejemplo el "Enforce DANE" o el protocolo "TLS", que si bien tengo entendido, no todos los proveedores tienen esa configuracion.

@daniel @Codeberg Generally saying, there might be a difference between AI-assisted coding by a person that actually has coding experience and a total vibecoder with no clue about the slightest line of code, for which I wanted to ask you: Which one of the two does Arne exactly do with #Monocles chat and what exactly is controversial if it's the former? (I checked the commits myself, just want to hear your opinion)
And which security fix is allegedly still missing on monocles chat from "over a year ago"? The last time you mentioned a neglected vulnerability with the client, I had contacted it's developer. He stated that he was already working on implementing it. This was in January, not a year ago. As a user, these discrepancies in information are making both sides somewhat questionable.

I reported the issue on the Codeberg repository and Arne got back to me super quick with:
"Hi, thanks for the details! It's just fixed with c3d37d7f18
The problem was conversations.im was set as secure domain but doesn't support DANE at moment. The update should come very soon." -
Just updated to monocles chat version 2.2.1 on my tablet. Two of my accounts (on quicksy.im) connect fine, but my conversations.im one consistently fails with "TLS negotiation failed".
My settings have not changed.
The same account is able to log in OK on my phone with the same credentials using monocles chat version 2.1.6 so this seems specific to the latest update.

Me costo mucho trabajo cambiar de conversations a monocles para mensajería instantánea, pero después de 8 días de usar monocles no me arrepiento.

I installed #Monocles and really liked it. It's the same as #Conversations, but with a more advanced and well-thought-out interface.

Nuevo server uruguayo de mensajería XMPP.
Si bien está funcionando desde el 1 de noviembre, es la primera vez que le "doy pa delante" aquí, ya que considero que está lo suficientemente "maduro" como para dejarlo crecer.

Today, the next release of monocles chat is finally ready and published, and will be available in stores in the next few days. It is a huge update with three fundamental new features:
Stories, Feeds, and Phone log.
In addition to many other improvements and features such as account sorting and improved message deletion, this update also brings new support for multiple XEPs. Thanks to the standardization of XMPP, it is now possible to interact socially with other XMPP platforms and messengers.
