Satisfied with my day. Awesome Balance class this morning. I’ve fed my sourdough starter & my Kefir. The milk around the Kefir grains was very thick like yoghurt & as I decanted it I didn’t think & binned it. Then tasted a little that was left in the jar & it was quite mild tasting. Saying that, I could still taste my toothpaste. So to see if it is more like a yoghurt that I can use - when I get back from Chiltern I’ll only take out some of the grains & add a little extra milk then just leave the rest in the fridge as a test.
My lawns are done & some of the gardening. My green bin is very full now though. I’ve given the birdbath a good clean & refilled it with fresh water. I also noticed that my Silverbeet out the back has gone crazy. It only had a few leaves on it when I left, now it’s huge. Since I started growing #silverbeet I've been keenly looking for new things to do with it. That's how I stumbled onto "Blitva", apparently a common Croatian side dish.
