Shoe cleaning day. It's especially satisfying to clean white shoes (not mine), but I could probably do better with the stubborn stains... I used some trusty saddle soap and a horsehair brush. Random fact about me: I really like shoe shining, especially looking after leather shoes!

Self-care and AuDHD stim joy. It's very much the end of sandal season here. I'm contentedly cleaning my summer shoes and tucking them back in my closet in great shape for next year. If you don't know about saddle soap, it's great stuff that you can use to maintain couches, shoes, belts and handbags. The longer I can make my shoes last the better for the environment and pulling my fall and winter shoes out feels great because I replaced the worn out insoles with new warm ones at the end of last season. It's like a hug and therapy for about $12 dollars a year.
