Our Maple Leaf Sprouts greenhouse distributed all 8500 leafy green starts, and now we have 750 tomato plants and 200 basil plants to distribute in the next two weeks. More basil coming up too. Most of the plants are in the greenhouse.

Yesterday I was oriented in the Seattle Giving Garden Network greenhouse at the Fairview Church. We planted a bunch of seeds. The plan is to have 5000 potted up starts in staggered "flushes"(?) to plant out in the giving gardens in our community gardens. We'll be busy from now until September. Although the giving gardens contribute quite a lot of food, and also take in produce donations from the community gardeners, it never really meets the need of our poorer friends.
