I imagine the first Mexican restaurant to get this being in California is pretty controversial.

I'm surprised to find out the plaque they give them makes the stars look like the flower power background of "The Dating Game".

Just got back home to Oakland California yesterday after a little over 2 weeks vacation in Naxos Greece 🇬🇷, London UK 🇬🇧, and Paris France 🇫🇷 (partly a work trip for my partner).

Besides the heatwave it was refreshing to enjoy walkable cities with reliable public transit and actual night life (all of which go hand-in-hand).

🚧 I'm constantly depressed by the Bay Area's awful infrastructure and limited nightlife. On Sun Jun 21 it took over an hour to get home from a concern in SF because of bridge lane closures for construction — We drove because of limited/slow public transit options, assuming traffic would be lite on Sunday (wrong).
