Outrage from the Senate, and rightly so imo. An already over-secretive govt is bad enough but for it’s political appointees to close ranks in this fashion is indeed outrageous and counter to the idea of *public service*.

The Coalition, Greens and independent Senator David Pocock teamed up to pass a joint motion rejecting attempts by government departments and agencies to control how footage of public hearings can be edited and shared online.”
