The #tech community has #SelfCensored itself on the #israeli #terrorism on #Lebanon (if not openly supported it).
Many of these people and organisations who rage against #malware, #datatheft in #ai, #drm, importance of #opensource have suddenly gone quiet about the deadliest use of tech ever!
When #CloudStrike stranded people in airports everyone was up in arms against private monopoly. Monopoly on #TechTerror by a rougue State is somehow just fine.
Nothing on #handala revelations either! Shame

This sounds -- not good.

"Almost four out of every 10 #journalists covering the #climate crisis and environment issues have been threatened as a result of their work, with 11% subjected to physical violence, according to groundbreaking new research.

Despite the breadth and magnitude of the problems, 39% of journalists surveyed reported having #SelfCensored – mostly due to fear of repercussions from “those undertaking illegal activities” or the government."
