Anyone know any good programming games like Screeps or Robocode that are somewhat cross platform? (Mac/Linux/iOS are nice)?

Screeps Arena just launched the second season out of nowhere.

My first impressions are that the client is smoother and that replays load better.
For those who don't know, it's a competitive game where you programme "bots" to fight each other.

Screeps season 7 spawning is open in an hour. The bots don't start executing until 1st September but there's a certain amount of strategy in choosing starting location.
Do you favour later access to minerals for boosts, do you favour maximising nearby energy sources to expand as quickly as possibly early on? Do you try and find a location far away from other players in order to be left in peace? -

Started playing #Screeps again after 6 years. Refactoring some code to get my game back up to snuff. It's a long game. My last Screeps bot ran for almost 3 years. Let's see how long this bot runs..

#screeps.com is a fairly complex MMO strategy game for programmers where you program colonies of bots mining resources, expanding their territory, trading, fighting and possibly negotiating with other colonies. It's mostly open source and may be hosted by yourself. The client is available on steam.
If someone is interested we could think about hosting a small server or playing together in the global ecosystem
