  1. Monster of 2025: Kavanaugh Stops – Mother Jones
    motherjones.com/politics/2026/

"Within a month of Kavanaugh’s moronic opinion, ProPublica had located 170 citizens who had been “dragged, tackled, beaten, tased, and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear. At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.” About two dozen were detained for a day or more without being able to make a phone call. Many of these were the exact kind of stop that Kavanaugh and his colleagues endorsed."

I think that #scotus has crossed the line of their legitimate authority. Only Congress has the power to make laws, so when #scotus does it, it’s not really legal. We desperately need a way to keep them in their lane. Right now they’re asserting power that they don’t really have.

  7. nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-c What the end of Biden's student debt relief plan means for the wider economy

That money will be directed away from consumer goods, and retailers could see sales cut by as much as 2%, economists say. That means at least $12 billion a month could be coming out of household budgets and going into student loans instead of other consumer items
