Yesterday we had a very nice talk at ISTA. Dr Pablo Oteiza from the Max Planck institute for Ornithology came to talk about... Fish !
He presented his work on rheotaxis, the tendency of a lot of fish to sense and face current. #fish #ScienceTalks

Today at ISTA, we have Elina Immonen talking at our EvoLunch seminar. She's going to talk about "How to evolve to resolve a sexual conflict over body size". She works on the beetle Callosobruchus maculatus, focusing on sexual chromosomes and sexual selection ! #insects #ScienceTalks
