    #schoolprayer redux. To simply say that God hates democracy will piss a lot of people off, but let's face it, the American hoi polloi worship the King of Jews, or at least pretend to. Does no one notice that nobody votes or gets elected in the Bible? No corroboration of witnesses. Slaves. Theocrats want a stinking king, even if it has to be Trump. The one thing everybody agreed on in 1789: no stinking king.

The Charleston County (SC) School District Board of Trustees is considering prayer before school board meetings, with a majority of the committee of the whole members voting in favor of the amendment at the January 10 meeting. The amendments will likely be discussed again during the regular board meeting, which is at 5:15 PM January 23. #1stAmendment #SchoolPrayer #Secular #Humanist #Atheist #Agnostic #Freethought
