You have to admit, Kpop's weakness is live performance. They were not trained for that. Compare that to #Ppop where talents were trained professionally by professional mentors in a rigid course where it covers everything. Look at #BINI and #SB19 to mention only two out of many examples.

Ult = love them the most, consider myself part of the fandom, would go to the concert and pay VIP, would consider travel to see them

Bias = I'm going to check out their new music when it drops, will go to concert

It's funny how you won't hear the news of how the #Ppop idol boy group #SB19 owned an event in Taiwan filled with #Kpop idol groups. The only ones making noises are Taiwanese and Filipinos. Taiwanese agree, SB19's powerful live singing is far better than most of the Kpop groups in that event. 😜

attended a concert in the biggest indoor arena in the world (cap: 55,000). this was the simula at wakas world tour kickoff! over 100,000 people came to watch #sb19 perform for 2 days at the philippine arena. so much effort went into this show. For the folks not aware of #SB19, they're the Philippines' biggest boy band. I'd say they have a level of versatility that's close to BTS since they have a great rap line AND great vocals. Their live vocal performances on the Wish Bus are insanely good.

They started the #ppop movement, which is Filipino pop that is partly informed by #kpop with the emphasis on high budget M/Vs, choreography, photocards, etc.
