Cleaning the vineyard. On our land we grow #Moscatel de Alejandría intermixed with #Romé. We don't use herbicides so once the vines are pruned back and the hollows around them (concentrating any rains) are tidied, we clear the weeds manually -so the goodness of the soil goes into the vines (not weeds) as they start to their growth cycle.

Have you heard of Nisperos? Also known as the Japanese Loquat this Asian fruit was cultivated in Spain mainly from the 19th C. It is a main crop of our local town, Sayalonga. It's taste is escribed sweet-and-sour, a combination of citrus with peach & mango. But the only way to really know is to eat it - ideally while visiting us, enjoying it with a glass of our Ariyanas Naturalmente Dulce. Mmm
