I have another #SaturdayShort for you: “Raffled by the Tentacle Elite” by Kit Luxe. #Tentacles #GayBookReviews
Logan has just graduated and is having trouble finding work. On a lark, he signs up for a job fair operated by the Elite, the tentacled aliens that are part of the Galactic Alliance that has taken control of earth. There are so many other applicants at the fair, Logan doesn’t have high hopes of landing a job, but he is effectively guided through the fair and encouraged to move towards the center of the hall where the winning applicants will be announced. Logan is shocked when his name is called and even more shocked when one of the Elite guides him out of the event hall into a private room where he learns what he has been selected for is not a job at all. It seems he is to become the mate of the Elite that accompanied him.

Time for a #Spicy #SaturdayShort: “The Rules” by Gale Stanley. #BDSM #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Wil is an experienced Dom looking for that one special submissive that he can call his own. He’s tired of doing scenes with subs that he doesn’t connect with. It’s hard since the city’s ultra conservative police chief has shut down all the clubs. The only places still open are invite-only, super-secret places that move around. What Wil doesn’t know is that the remaining clubs are run by the corrupt police chief, and they make up for a chronic shortage of subs by entrapping homeless young men and forcing them to choose between jail or providing sexual services. Aiden is one of those young men coerced into being a sub in the club. When Wil spots Aiden, he is convinced the young man is “the one” but getting him away from the clutches of the police chief will prove a lot harder than he thinks.

Just published another #SaturdayShort review: “The Wizard’s Apprentice” by Ryan DeVry. #Erotica #MMRomance #gayBookReviews
Callum is apprenticed to one of the most powerful wizards in the land. He cooks and cleans, plus provides “stress relief” for his master when needed. Callum especially likes the stress relief duty, but so far, he hasn’t learned to do any magic himself. When the wizard gets busy with an especially difficult project, he has little time for Callum, and things get even worse when the Wizard calls in another apprentice.

This week’s #SaturdayShort is “Gilded Cage of the Tentacled Elite” by Kit Luxe. #SciFi #Dystopian #MMRomance #gayBookReviews
The Galactic Alliance arrived on Earth with promises to make everything better, and they did, for some. Theo lives on the streets, outside the system. He eats food he finds discarded in dumpsters and sleeps in alleys well out of sight from the main streets. That’s to avoid the “sweepers” that round up homeless people. There are all sorts of stories about what happens to the humans collected by the alliance sweepers. One particularly cold night, Theo is starving when he stumbles on a box with food and warm blankets in it. Part of him knows it’s a trap, but Theo is so cold and so hungry that he falls into the clutches of the Alliance. He wakes to find himself in a vast warehouse where he is cleaned, collared, and purchased by one of the aliens to be a sexual plaything.

For your #spicy #SaturdayShort I review “Uncle 2” by Jay L. North. #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Ben is now living with his uncle Devon, with whom he’s having a sexual relationship. It’s a two-bedroom apartment, so nobody suspects the true nature of their relationship. Devon dominates his nephew, giving him pleasure in ways that Ben never thought possible. He just can’t seem to get enough of his uncle, and the feelings are entirely mutual. The desire to pull Ben out of his shell as well as explore the young man’s kinky fantasies push Devon to engineer some public encounters with his nephew. It’s a potentially dangerous path that has to be walked carefully.

Time for a #spicy #SaturdayShort - “Fiends With Benefits” by Sean Michael. #Fantasy #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Ben’s husband, Standish, is dying of cancer. Ben will do anything to save the love of his life, but all the standard medical treatments have been exhausted. That’s when Ben has the crazy idea of summoning a demon to make a deal to save Standish. He doesn’t expect it to work, but it may give Standish a moment or two of mirth when Ben tells him about it. Much to everyone’s surprise, a demon appears. Ben has summoned Zazzul, an ancient demon skilled in the art of sex magic. It can save Standish, but only if Ben agrees to submit totally to the demon’s domination, and Standish agrees to watch.

Another #Spicy #SaturdayShort - “The Obedience Pill” by Ryan DeVry. #Erotica #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Imagine if you will there’s a pill that will make the person who takes it do whatever you say. You (a straight dude) obtain one of these pills with the idea of slipping it to a woman you pick up in a bar, to ensure you get laid. Because yes, apparently that’s what straight dudes do. Now, what do you do when your roommate, also straight, takes the pill by mistake because you hid it in the medicine chest in a box labeled paracetamol? Do you still want to get off, even though you and your roommate aren’t gay?

The Zeta Mu Tau mini-serial concludes with “Own Me” by BL Sparrow. #SaturdayShort #taboo #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Ben is back at the frat house, but he’s missing his brother Nate even more than he thought he would. It doesn’t help seeing Aidan get used by the fraternity brothers, and enjoying every second of it. While Foster agrees to let Aidan be used by any of the men, it’s clear Aidan does it for Foster, and the two are deeply in love with each other. It makes Ben a little jealous, since he can never let people know how he and Nate really feel about each other. Secrets have a way of coming out. When Ben finds out Aidan is Foster’s brother, and Foster finds out what’s happening between Nate and Ben, will it be the end, or just the beginning?

A spicy #SaturdayShort for you: “Use Me” by BL Sparrow. #Taboo #MMRomance #GayBookReviews
Ben has been unsettled since the start of term, when the new pledge Aidan joined his fraternity. It’s not that the chapter president Foster has made Aidan his personal sex toy, using the young man at every opportunity. It’s that Aidan seems to actually enjoy being used. The greater the humiliation, the more Aidan seems to get off on it, and he shows no shame afterward. Ben can’t help wondering what that must be like. The feelings Aidan evokes are all very bewildering. Which is why he is looking forward to the Thanksgiving break. His family may take every opportunity to express their disappointment with Ben, but he’s used to it. Even his twin brother Nate seems to avoid Ben, who always feels second-best compared to Nate.

A #SaturdayShort for the long U.S. holiday weekend: “Happily” by Kim Fielding. #Fantasy #GayBookReviews
Piers owns a modest little tavern with his partner. He’s very good at making ale, which means the pub has loyal customers, and Piers is also good at telling stories. One night, a stranger visits and is interested in hearing one of Piers’ stories, so the affable landlord tells him about the time he was cook for a pair of giants. It was a good job, with kind people who paid well, until that no-good rotten young man Jack showed up.

Today’s #SaturdayShort is “A Bit of Rope” by Johannes T Evans #Novelette #kink #GayBookReviews
An ex-soldier, Arthur “Kuhn” Conrad, now a debt collector of sorts for a corrupt company, can’t sleep one night, and as he’s walking the streets, sees a coworker - on a whim, he follows, and ends up in an underground club. The older man, Ignatius Kasovitz, likes to tie people up, it seems, and Kuhn finds he wants to try being tied up, if it’s Kasovitz doing the tying.

TIme for another #SaturdayShort - “Back Forty” by BA Tortuga #MMRomace #GayBookReview
Rusty inherited his grandparents’ farm and is trying to make a go of it. It’s hard work, but he can’t afford to hire help. One day, Rusty stops to help another man, Wayne, whose truck has broken down near the farm. Wayne also grew up on a farm and is “between jobs” as a ranch hand, so he agrees to help Rusty out for room and board. The two men are attracted to each other, and eventually they give in to their desires.

Another #SaturdayShort review: “Haze Me” by BL Sparrow. #erotica #MMRomace #GayBookReview
Aidan’s father led a double life. He had another wife and son who lived in a big mansion in a posh neighborhood, while Aidan and his mother were the man’s dirty little secret with a modest house on the other side of town. They didn’t even know the man’s real name until Aidan’s mother found out and kicked him out. Things went downhill for Aidan and his mother after that. Now, Aidan is out for revenge. He got a scholarship to the same university that his brother, whom he’s never met, attends. Aidan plans to pledge to the fraternity where his half-brother is president, then dig up the dirt he knows must exist on the man so he can expose him. Things don’t quite go as planned.

An extra #SaturdayShort review this week: “Nothing Left to Lose” by N.R. Walker. #MMRomace #GayBookReview
Brody and Miller have been best friends since high school. They remained so even after Miller came out. The two are often so close that people mistake them for boyfriends even though Brody is straight. The problem is that Miller has been in love with Brody almost since they met, and it has become torture to be around him. Sensing the distance Miller has started to put between them, Brody enters them in a contest for newlyweds, partly as a joke. The joke may be on Brody when they win the contest and have to spend a weekend in Las Vegas pretending to be a real gay couple. Will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?
