Roa chatting about the various licenses she took. She passed the leisure boat license test, as well as the small cc bike test.
She said that she likes gaining new knowledge and experience, and asked for suggestions... so chat asked her to take English lessons to speak to Saba 🐟 , and she stopped dramatically, and just said 'Why?'. Truly a comedian.

I've been thinking about what I last commented regarding #SamekoSaba, and I decided the following things:
○VTubers may indeed be identified as just people who portray themselves with an avatar most if not all of the time, Wikipedia be damned.
○However, I still stand at the very least in favor of those who do more than just present themselves with an avatar. If you have and you care about the tiniest bit of kayfabe you got underneath, you deserve my attention.
○Idc if your VTuber persona resembles any other in any other way. That would be like complaining that my Maltese dog looks and acts like your Maltese dog. (If anything, we need more Maltese dogs in this world)
○If you're just streaming as an avatar, I'll still consider you a VTuber and I'll wish you the best of endeavors, but my focus will be on those who made their investment into being whatever creature with whatever lore, huge or tiny, they have. If you get some lore later, you'll pick my curiosity.And last but not least:
I might have blown things up with my concern about Saba's lackluster debut being replicated by other ex-corpo VTubers, but I'm always committed to treating these "open secrets" like mere coincidences.
In my eyes and my brain, Gura has returned to her homeland of Atlantis, and Saba is just a mackerel that lived on coast for who knows how long and suddenly decided to stream.
I know both share the same IRL person, but I like to think about it in the same light as an actor playing different roles.
I've clung too much to the "Actor" term to define the people behind the avatars, but I feel they're at least good improvisers, just like WWE wrestlers. That's where the term "kayfabe" comes from.

The same kind of fans who told Saba to sing Ash Again, keep mentioning shark on chat, and later when YouTube sent Saba viewers to Kiara 'by algorithm', they spammed "Saba raid"... :neocat_facepalm:
Really, so many people have no filter. Even Indies have rules about mentioning other people in chat. And let people sing their PL song when they feel comfortable enough to do so, not as a suggestion from the audience. You could literally see the poor girl struggle to ignore it.

It's quite odd to hear 'but the corpo kept her power back' from 'fans' who drank too much anti-corpo feels.
cillia tweeted a part of Saba's Live2D Model rig... The effort she put into it is insane and not something she'd put into a regular commission. She also did the rigs for Dokibird and Mint's new post-corpo models, and they're nowhere near as complex, but above most others too. It's literally a passion project.
cillia is one of the few riggers able to do this kind of quality, the rest of the industry isn't really there yet. A corpo needs a rig done on time and within budget, which is why VShojo is one of many companies that often use the rigger KevinX who is known to be fast because he uses templates and has modified designs to fit them instead to meet deadlines (see Nanoless's complaint about Ironmouse's rigging).

Unironically, Saba is listed 35cm height, which is about 'Friends with u' sized, i.e. a plushie of that size is about 1:1 scale.
