One of the nice features of #Jolla's #Sailfish is how they've done context menus. Hold on an item and a menu appears, but you don't need to lift your finger to aim at the menu. Just hold and slide up and down to select the item from the menu. See example below.

Czy ktoś tu korzysta z Linuxa i poniższego OSu?

Chodzi mi konkretnie o współpracę z: nextcloud, caldev, syncthing, kde connect.

Myślę o kupnie Fairphone 5, ale mam wątpliwości... SailfishOS na pewno nie wspiera aplikacji android i to trochę problem. UT odpala je w kontenerze, a /e/OS i LineageOS to zasadniczo android...

I'm going to try a different approach with my #Jolla C2. Since it's not a full Android device I shouldn't really feel so bad about using Android apps on it so I might look at installing things like Tusky/Pixelfed on there instead of trying to just do stuff with those in the standard #Sailfish web browser ...

Having said that I really wish apps would decrease sensible without Google Play services (microG). Having said that, GPS is bad on the C2 without it ...

My #Jolla C2 has just been offered the #Sailfish #SailfishOS 5.1 update. Some good version bumps here. glibc up from 2.30 to 2.41. OpenSSL now at the LTS 3.5 level (with 1.1.1v left for any compatibility issues) python up from 3.8 to 3.11. gcc up from 10 to 13.

Interesting device. My teenage daughter is actively looking for a flip phone, this is certainly interesting although the price is a bit too serious, however, you‘d probably end up spending a similarish sum on a used iPhone….

@Muppensish sorry i have cognitive difficulties and got confused. it's NOT an xperia it's a #jollaC2 phone, an open source phone from a small company in finland. they use #sailfish only in their phones.
i got confused bc i also have an xperia.
