  1. I'm still hesitant on all that Shah is back because a lot of that comes from fever dreaming expats and Western pundists without their ear on the ground. Plus some arguments that Tehran is playing it up in order to split the opposition but hey, lets roll with moment, Glory to Shah #royalist

  5. #JamesHind (sometimes referred to as John Hind; baptized 1616, died 1652) was a 17th-century #highwayman and #Royalist rabble-rouser during the #EnglishCivilWar. He came from the town of #ChippingNorton, #Oxfordshire. He fought in the English Civil War for the Royalist cause. 7. "There has been growing demand in recent months for [former king Gyanendra] Shah to be reinstated as king and #Hinduism to be brought back as a #state #religion. #Royalist groups accuse the #country’s major #political parties of #corruption and #failed #governance and say #people are frustrated with #politicians."

  8. I'm no #royalist but I have lived in #denmark for a while and it's one of "my countries". I've learnt to respect its traditions despite they might not align with my politics at all times. #gbnews for being a pro conservative network surely goes to great extent to disrespect a foreign head of state. But I guess they reached the phase of "in order to be relevant I need to be antagonising" even their own fanbase. Which is actually a common thread across British politics sadly as of late #news

  9. Not a #Royalist generally but hey I'm really warming to this #PrinceHarry guy. He's showing leadership, integrity, emotion & metal, & no fear sticking his head up.

  10. Are you siding with #Harry or the #palace? Either way, you fall into the #royalist #trap - #Polly #Toynbee

"#Monarchy is a cast of mind that blocks #reform, an unholy religion made of these remarkably unremarkable people. Despite the best education for generations, their most useful genetic function is to demonstrate that talent and intelligence is randomly assigned. Monarchy breeds in #Britain a #feudalism of the imagination that gives a stamp of approval to #inheritance and to the #inequality, risen rampantly in recent decades, that is at the root of our #social and #political #malaise"

Not being on #Twitter we can miss all the #Royalist bots ripping into that couple that turned their back on all that regressive, racist nonsense.
Whatever tiny details they are upset about dont matter to our lives in any way.
