The babies enjoyed their vacation with family. Avalon is being picked up shortly, and we all miss her very much, including the cats (I think). The boys gave us lots of cuddles, kisses, and asked for lots of attention. I can't wait to see how Avalon reacts!
I am ready to deflate and have some fur baby therapy, as I am sore, fatigued, and grumpy. The flies we brought home in the van aren't helping the grouchiness.
I am so thankful for family who love animals, specifically our adopted non-human babies, but even more than that, I am thankful that we have been able to have 'pets' in our lives. I know that I wouldn't be here without them. I have been through a lot mentally and physically with them by my side, and there have been times that the only reason I stuck around was because my heart ached at the idea of them wondering where I went and why I never came home.

Lovely lovely dog. Gentle, loved fuss from anyone. Would walk round the local pub garden off lead. If someone gave her fuss, she'd take it all. If she was ignored for 10 seconds she'd move on. Very much loved by pub regulars.
Lost her to cancer aged 9. -
