  1. Delighted that the hard copy of @folkloresociety journal #Folklore, 135.4 has just arrived, containing my article"‘The Sky is Too Big’: Reclaimed Flatlands and Their Communities, What Happens When the Edge of the World Becomes Its Centre, and Romanticization in Fieldwork".

It's an excitingly full issue, I must say (even if that means many conflicting things to me as its indexer).

My article is also available Open Access here: tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10

  2. Does anyone know of any Creative Commons-licensed/free to share maps of #RomneyMarsh for an academic journal article? Not optimistic, but asking anyhow because I have no budget.

  3. I visited this tiny little church at Orlestone in Kent yesterday, very rural and no village to speak of, but where some of my maternal Wood/Jenner ancestors were baptised, married and buried, before my 3xg grandmother Louisa Wood moved to Rye in Sussex in the 1850s, married James Barham and raised their family there, including my 2xg grandmother Eliza
