I mean, when you love something... TBH, alll are better live.
For #Chinchilla , check out Fingers (live) and/or 5:1 (live)
For #RomainAxisa , check out Happy Song (Live at Oto's) or Time After Time (live at St Augustine's Chapel)
For #HildeLouiseAsbjørnsen , the album is live with an audience in the studio. The videos add so much to it, though.
(all on YouTube)
So, #music , right? We can share the things we love here without being bombarded by negativity, yes?
So, depending on your personal tastes, here's 3 albums that are fuelling my summer -
1) Romain Axisa - A Wonderful Thrill (2023)
2) Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen - Divin' at the Oceansound (2011)
3) Chinchilla - Flytrap (2 days ago!)
All very different artists, all very different sounds, all hugely deserving of a wider audience.
Enjoy your summer!
Ah, why not - here's one of The Big Push's live busking videos. It's such a great mash-up and a thing of absolute joy.
I Shot The Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop
Another singer that's followed on from finding Ren is a member of the band they were both in (The Big Push - definitely worth checking out their live busking videos)
Romain Axisa has such a delicate, melancholic voice. Well worth checking out. This is a live version of his song Happy Song.
