Boxing Day (26th Dec) is always a bittersweet for me because it was my mum's (Carol Dawn Pindred) birthday. She has been gone many moons now but she lives on in my memories. #HappyBirthdayMum #RIPMum #GoneButNeverForgotten

Three years ago today my lovely mum went into care. Mum had Alzheimer's with Vascular Dementia. Mum got the best care and the kindest support from dedicated professionals in her final years. Carers who are now family friends. My big plan about flying 'home' once a month to spend time with my mum and help my dad was blown out of the water by Covid lock downs. Dad had to cope being on his own for the first time in 60 years. Mum died 454 days later having caught Covid. #ValentinesDay #RIPMum
