Also very important change here - in the 2019 debates, @MayElizabeth@birdsite asked @theJagmeetSingh@birdsite whether he'd be willing to join a 'war cabinet' to address climate change directly, and he said no, because he was worried it would mean working with the CPC (or worse, PPC), and this is something he'd never do.

And yet, now he seems to have experience doing just that with the covid crisis so he has warmed to the idea and is now for it.

This was the first reason that I started calling for Singh to resign, and it clearly no longer applies. #leadersdebate #resignh

I did start /r/ndp. I'm not sure if I was a member when I made it.

I was a member, for like a year in the jack layton years. I left after he died. I was thinking of rejoining but was content to be an independent, pro-ndp type

but jagmeet has burned the bridge to me and they've lost my vote until they can lose him #resignh

There are all kinds of red flags here. This is a pretty typical ndp failure mode, putting forward the socially conscious doctor as a candidate. Thankfully this is a blue riding and he'll probably lose, but it's a close one and the cons have screwed up quite a bit lately so he *could* win
