  1. Latest #ReplayWorkshop project: 1" bases for miniatures, made of 100% recycled polystyrene plastic

  2. On May 18th, #ReplayWorkshop will again be at the STEAM Festival at the Depot in #Duluth, showing off stuff (InFUNity Tiles!) and talking about plastics recycling. Come see us!

  3. Last week we (#ReplayWorkshop) received, free, a full trailer of 275 gallon IBC bottles, already washed, pure HDPE (white or natural), for #recycling with our #preciousplastic shredder. 90 of them in total, about 47 pounds each.

A local trucking company accumulates more than they can sell or reuse. Payment from previous recycler dropped to be less than the cost of labor and transportation. They were delighted to have a local place where they could just bring the trailer and see it emptied.

  4. We're setting a #ReplayWorkshop goal for April, aka Earth Month: To collect and process at least 500 kg (1100 lbs.) of plastic. It may take some creative outreach to get that much supply in the month, and I also want to see if we can actually process that much material to be ready for making new things.

  5. As #ReplayWorkshop moves ahead with the tooling funded by the InFUNity Tiles crowdfunding campaign, I am soft-launching the landing page for the next one -- a set of #recycled acrylic gaming dice! Working toward a tentative March time frame for doing a campaign on Backerkit... backerkit.com/call_to_action/6

  6. Carving mallet. Head is overmolded then turned; material is mixed sweepings/waste from #ReplayWorkshop (mostly HDPE and PP). Ash handle is reclaimed pallet wood. No finish on the wood yet. Most likely will just apply boiled linseed oil. It's made for use, not decor.
