I enjoyed showing Replay Workshop to a group of materials science graduate students from the University of Minnesota-Duluth yesterday. I hope we collaborate with the U on some things in the future!
One thing I was thinking was about how I like the open source nature of the #PreciousPlastic movement. Whatever we might do -- such as using fancy university equipment to test the material characteristics of recycled plastic and composite lumber material, for example -- can be shared worldwide.

I'll have example recycled items for sale. I'm also looking for sources of material that could be easily recycled if only somebody (like us!) was willing to accept it. Bring something plastic you have a question about, and I'll see if I can find an answer!

Last week we (#ReplayWorkshop) received, free, a full trailer of 275 gallon IBC bottles, already washed, pure HDPE (white or natural), for #recycling with our #preciousplastic shredder. 90 of them in total, about 47 pounds each.
A local trucking company accumulates more than they can sell or reuse. Payment from previous recycler dropped to be less than the cost of labor and transportation. They were delighted to have a local place where they could just bring the trailer and see it emptied.

@masukomi We have two #PreciousPlastic shredders -- a small one and a Pro model. You can get used industrial ones for cheaper, but often those require 3-phase power.
