More and more people feel insecure: rising rents, fear of poverty, homelessness, racist and sexualised violence, wars and climate change weigh heavily on us.
These conditions are no coincidence, but the result of political decisions.
State authorities such as the police and the judiciary often fail to provide protection.
On 1 May, we are opening Gecekondu and, together with allied initiatives, warmly invite you to join us for a cup of tea.
