Two ~600kg BYD E6 batteries (almost) mounted to a frame. Hard work, good work. This is about 120-160kWh of storage total. The batteries are from ex-Singaporean taxis which had done about 250,000km before crashing (the cars, not the batteries). I've owned a couple and seen plenty of 400,000km taxis with over 80% SOH so I think these batteries are likely to be plenty better.
The plan is coming together...

Review after first decent drive (twisty hilly roads):
"56% for 117.6km, that means 210km range linearly extrapolated. So the initial estimate of 235km on the <dash> was surprisingly close. Not bad at all! We have a happy <customer> here"
