  1. Screen printed Greet Live At Roadburn 2025 poster designed by Subterranean Prints. Handnumbered and signed limited edition 3/30.

The utter most impressive design, if you ask me. This one will be framed in the living room for everyone to see.

  2. 🧵 I got me these gig posters which I bought at the Roadburn festival this year. The first one is a limited edition A5 sized cardboard silkscreen printed ticket for next years event, designed by Douwe Dijkstra.

  3. Roadburn day 4/4.

Bombstrap came up to do a secret show at the skate hall. This encounter was what I needed. Some art makes you feel understood. And some people understand this art. Protect trans kids with your punk-ass and free Palestine for the sake of their and your own existence. Or else f*** off.

    Respect Existence or Expect Resistance.

Yes. Bacht'n de Vuile Moane brings the lo-fi, minimal lompness, which I'm looking for in my black metal. This somewhat reminded me of the sounds of Kwade Droes, only kind of more minimal ánd synthy.

  5. Roadburn day 4/4.

Today started with the Vuur & Zijde show, performing their album Boezem. Beforehand, their music doesn't really seem to be my cup of coffee, but this band really showed they are more than worth it giving them another try, which I know I will do. With members of Laster and Terzij de Horde (!).

  6. Roadburn day 4/4.

So here we are at the last day of Roadburn 2025. Starting with a pic of my hardcopy ticket and an original artprint for the next edition! You have to hold on to something in life, especially these days. 361 days to go...but not before looking back into the last day of this year's edition of Roadburn.

  7. Roadburn day 3/4.

The Uniform show was quite something. Apart from the show itself, this is my first encounter with this band, not having heared of them before. This band with Interpol and Couch Slut members manages to create a sound that struck me like a (very) blackened Idles combined with Daughters. Impressive set!

  8. Roadburn day 3/4.

By surprise, I ended up at a Gillian Carter show. I have to say, I had to get used to their blackened hardcore sound and screams. But they ended up playing a very energetic and on-point show. And the audience presented the first serious circle-pit I saw this Roadburn edition.

Talking about have-to-see bands; I was just in time to catch the Dødheimsgard show from the beginning, playing their masterpiece album Black Medium Current. Because of the symphonical tone of the album, this show could have been just a wall of sound, but it was a very clear and impressive performance! Glad to have seen then live.

  10. Roadburn day 3/4.

Today was more of a layed back Roadburn day, with quite the nice surprises, of which some performances were have-to-sees and some simply blew me away unexpectedly.

  11. Roadburn day 2/4.

And to conclude the day Big Brave played a secret show at the skate hall! Glad to have seen this unique set by this impressive band, as I will probably not see them when they hit the big stage at The Terminal.

  12. Roadburn day 2/4.

Soooo...yeah...these earplugs definitely did their job, as this The Body show was really the 'body' of sound I expected. I have seen many LOUD performances in the past by bands like Sunn O))), Boris, Swans (Michael Gira and Kristof Hahn will play sunday!), Conan, etc. And this is definitely one for the 'loudest concerts ever' list. Also, I just loved the dark and grimm performance this duo left the audience with.

  13. Roadburn day 2/4.

The HIRS Collective was one of the bands I had to see this year. The two of them crushed the stage with their grindcore crust punk alternated with 80's and 90's dancetracks. They managed to set a vibe here with their 30 (or 40) minute set. Moshpits are relatively rare at Roadburn, but this show had a serious one!

  14. Roadburn day 2/4.

Heartwarming and soulful was the very, very impressive De Mannen Broeders set, with their beautiful choir. From the creative mind and Church of Ra / Amenra founding father Colin H van Eeckhout, together with Tonnie Dieleman.

"Wij zijn De Mannen Broeders en God zei dank bevat onze groep meer zusters."

  15. Roadburn day 2/4.

First off was Throwing Bricks with Ontaard performing a Somethong To Lose set. Glad to have seen them, as I couldn't be with the Throwing Bricks show last year.

  16. Roadburn day 2/4. With a total of six full sets from early noon on, that was another exciting day. Didn't forget to bring my earplugs today, so there was another chance to see and safely hear The Body do their works. 🦻🏼
