Going non-traditional for thanksgiving dinner this year and making "carne adovada" instead of turkey.
It's a taco shell, with some refried beans on the bottom, then red chile pork shoulder chopped into 1" chunks as the meat, then shredded cheese, then lettuce on top of that, then chopped tomato. Optionally a slice of fried onion on top of that, then topped off with guacamole, sour cream and salsa.
(I skip the sour cream, personally)
