Sometimes I read things and the words flow through my eyes without reaching my brain. I can read pages and pages without taking in a single thing. I hate it when this happens, and it happens more and more as I get older. Before I got mono when I was 18, my mind retained so much more. Ever since getting mono, it’s so much more difficult to retain/understand things. Menopause and COVID have only made it worse. It’s like I’ve flushed half my IQ down the shitter. Brain fog sucks. #BrainFog #ReadingRetention #CognitiveImpairment
