I did something! For my #drone and #uav as well as for my #rc planes/gliders I like to use EdgeTX on my Radio Controllers like the #radiomaster TX15. #edgetx has the possibility to log data during your flights which give useful information later. Use-case like: RC signals, TX power, voltage sag, GPS locations, everything that's send via telemetry link.
The logs are simple CSV; however you need to do some magic to turn them into graphs. For easy access I've built a web app (PWA actually) that imports a log and renders it using d3.js. The tool is by far not perfect, but it's perfect for my use case - therefore, I'd share it here.

RC Airplanes are a wonderful and relaxing (depending on your craft, lol) hobby.
And it's also quite affordable with ready-to-go starter kits for just over $100.But if you want to join an RC club to get access to an actual flying field, you have to shell out $50-$85 per year for the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) membership in the US, and an additional $100 per year for most flying fields.
I mean, if you're serious about your hobby (any hobby), that might indeed be chump-change to you, but it's really not a trivial amount of money at all.

My new #readymaderc STRIX Stratosurfer is built (except for the servo linkages). Matek H743-WLITE running #ardupilot, M9N GPS + compass, airspeed sensor. Thinking I'll add a LIDAR rangefinder to the belly to see if automated landing works. But I'll be flying it mostly in fully manual mode because watching it gently glide across the sky under my control is so satisfying and relaxing. #radiocontrol #radiocontrolplane #rcplane
