"The defense secretary praised the war against Iran — in which he declared victory just weeks after it began but has now dragged into a seven-month campaign — as a courageous operation 'that every red-blooded American is proud of'.”:

China is a military superpower. Iran has a much weaker military than China has, but America's military could not defeat Iran in the past seven months. This is nothing for us to be proud of.

Donald Trump handed a victory to #Iran today:
"U.S. forces formally withdrew from Iraq on Wednesday":
https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/30/world/middleeast/iraq-us-forces.html
This was a victory for Iran both because Iran wanted American soldiers out of Iraq and because, with American troops out of Iraq while Iran is bordering Iraq, this will increase Iranian influence in Iraq. This is one more sign that Iran won the #IranWar.

Matthew Hennessey claimed that the Democrats are running on fear, but it is Trump who is running on fear, the fear of communism. From the 1950s through the 1980s, fear of communism made sense. Now it makes no sense. Matthew Hennessey claimed that the Democrats are running on fear that Trump "will send your sons and daughters to die in a war." This is a very real fear, unlike Trump's phony fear of communism in the United States.
